Wellington Institute of Technology (WelTec) New Zealand is one of the largest polytechnics in the Wellington region and offers over 140 courses across a broad spectrum of subjects with a wide range of national and international qualifications available.

Convenient Campus LocationsWelTec has two campuses in Wellington. The Main Campus is in Buick Street, Petone - 10 minutes from Wellington, and the City Campus is on The Terrace in Wellington. WelTec also has campuses in Auckland and Christchurch.

Wellington

Wellington is the capital city of New Zealand and is situated at the southern tip of the North Island on the edge of a spectacular harbour, surrounded by bush-clad hills. It enjoys a moderate climate and relaxed lifestyle, which makes it a pleasant place to live.

The city is home to the Royal New Zealand Ballet and the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra, as well as national dance, drama, opera and musical groups. Four professional theatres operate year-round, and the Wellington Festival of Arts contributes to Wellingtons deserved international reputation as the cultural heart of New Zealand. The excellent beaches, native forests and harbour, all within a few minutes of the citys major population centres, make Wellington an attractive location for international students wishing to combine study with an enjoyable lifestyle.

Campus

WelTecs main campus is situated in Petone, just a block from the beautifully redeveloped Petone esplanade. It is close to playing fields, the beach, and Wellingons beautiful harbour as well as a number of trendy shops and cafes. Central Wellington is only minutes away by car and public transport. We have access to all the amenities and facilities of Hutt City (a major population centre of Wellington) as well as being only a short distance from the spectacular New Zealand countryside

Queens Academic Group is conveniently located in the heart of Auckland City, New Zealand. Less than 5 minutes walk to main entertainment arenas and shopping areas of Queen Street, Aotea Square and the Viaduct Basin. 

QAG is only a ten minute walk from central train station and bus terminal. Auckland is called the 'City of Sails' and every day a multitude of yachts and pleasure boats may be seen from the Auckland Viaduct Harbour.
